I didn't make the request for the Mattingly photo and the memorial isn't managed by me. There are a huge number of Mattinglys and I am not an expert on the various branches of the tree. The obit says his wife was Rose Abell, but I don't see a memorial for her.

Thank you very much for doing the photo of John Hanson Briscoe's grave. I really appreciate it.
You have put photos on some duplicate memorials - the originals were done in 2008

Jeff: Think about joining us in the St. Mary's County Genealogy Society. We are a great group - lots of interesting speakers, "share" that often is very helpful & good food !

Thanks for the corrections / additions. These came from a list that was complied by high school students working during the American Revolution Bicentennial. There is a LOT to be added - so ANYTHING you have - especially on parents, maiden names, etc. will be helpful to get this list up-to-date and more useful.
I got a message from you about S. Thompason having to have his father stand in for him as sheriff because he was under age, but I can't find what memorial the message goes with.

Hello, (an fyi) I sent a suggest a correction to change daughter to Louise even though it doesn't seem to appear on the footstone because it's on the Hale Cemetery Inscriptions copied in 1934 pg210, and I found her on the 1900 census listed as Louisa age 1. Maybe the grass overgrew her name.

I have made the correction. Thank you very much for providing the information. I also connected her parents.
