Bio Photo On Passing A Graveyard
~ John O'Donohue ~

May perpetual light shine upon
The faces of all who rest here.

May the lives they lived
Unfold further in spirit.

May all their past travails
Find ease in the kindness of clay.

May the remembering earth
Mind every memory they brought.

May the rains from the heavens
Fall gently upon them.

May the wildflowers and grasses
Whisper their wishes into light.

May we reverence the village of presence
In the stillness of this silent field.

RE: Sisters
Hi Diane:

I submitted corrections for the memorials of the Precious Blood Sisters. Their religious suffix (CPS) is included in the last name field which goes against the F-A-G guidelines. If you put the suffix in the last name field, it impedes the search feature (i.e. Sr. Mary Smith CPS won't come up if you search Smith).

Hi there:

Thanks very much for adding to F-A-G. The F-A-G rules state that suffixes do not belong in the name fields. I submitted corrections for the memorials to follow these rules.

Thank you!

Good morning all, I came upon this site and was amazed. My Grandfather was Earl Bishop and his wife Clare-I didn't know a lot about my family as my mother Shirley Bishop from Erie, Pa passed away in 1976-If anyone has photos and more information that would fantastic.

Albert Bishop
Diane, I see that You have a few Bishop memorials and that You or someone has taken the time to link a lot of the Bishop Family together, which is really Wonderful. Do You have any information as to Who were the parents of Albert Bishop ???

From my GG Grandfather's Civil War Pension File we have determined that our GG Grandmother was a Bishop. Recent DNA tests for myself and a 2nd cousin point to Albert Bishop and also a Benjamin Bishop. Benjamin lived for some time in Clearfield County (Ansonville) and moved on to Arkansas where he died.

Any info would be most welcomed.
