RE: Thanks!
You're welcome. I added a couple of other Morrisons who were close to your people -- Adelbert (1885-1926) and Mina (1897-1988) -- might they also be yours?

Helen Cole photo request.
I am about to fulfill your photo request and this is just to let you know that I confirmed the location at the office, however the name on the headstone is Locke, and she is buried with Earl Locke.

RE: Thank You!
It's my pleasure! If you have others you would like photographed, or if you want another after we've had some rain to clean the stone a bit just let me know. I get to Marissa pretty frequently and always enjoy a stroll through the cemetery. Steph

RE: Thank you!
Hi, Mark. I went back and took another look for Sarah & Elizabeth McClure, but there are no headstones for them. I did, however, find a stone for Jeanette McClure, who apparently was married to the other adult James McClure in the 1860 Federal census of this community. I did a memorial for her, and uploaded the grave photo. I think the reason it survived in such good condition is it fell backwards when it broke off from its base, and then was more or less covered by brambles and underbrush until someone recently weed-whacked the cemetery. (She was farther up the slope from the stone for Ann and the other James McClure.) Not sure how the McClures all relate, but at least she's there now on Find A Grave.
Regards, MK

You're welcome. The cemetery is not very well organized and it sometimes takes a while to locate graves, even when you do have the plot numbers. I'm glad I was able to find him for you. How did he die so young, if you don't mind me asking?

RE: Thank you!
There are 3 or 4 other Murphy's in the same plot. Let me know if you want photos of them.

RE: Old Rose Cemetery
You are very welcome. I was unable to find any other gravestones for the McClure family. It is possible that something may surface in the future, so we should keep the requests active for a while
