I served in the navy ,as did my father, son, and many others on the White side of my family has done. The Stidham side mostly goes Army. My uncle Wade White went Army and was awarded the silver star while serving during the occupation of Korea during the war. We've been lucky and only lost one cousin Andrew Young Davis, who was an Army air corps pilot in W.W.Two,and was flying an unarmed reconnicence plane when he was shot down near New Guinea and his body was never recovered. There is a marker in the Odema cemetary to honor him, along with my father Charles Raymond White and Wade also. My father died in 1965 and Wade died of cancer in 1991. My brother was named after A.Y. and was murdered in 2009 while being robbed. I buried him beside my mother and dad, and he rests at A.y.'s feet. As for myself I was electrocuted a few years back, but am trying to return to work and school in the very near future. Randy
