Genealogy and cemeteries are my hobbies. It started about 4 years ago when I was researching my relatives. I found that I had a great number of relatives that I did not even know about. It has been a very worthwhile endeavor. I have found and talked to some of my relatives that are still living. I found Find A Grave almost 2 years ago and found it was not only useful but helpful in tracing
my relatives. I was able to find many of the cemeteries and Grave Markers for my relatives. I will try my best with photo requests to find that relative for you and take a photo. I will also do transfers of memorials for people I have created on Find A Grave, if a family wants to do more editing.

RE: Joseph Scribner grave marker photo
Joseph gravestone was shared with Velma Scribner and then there were two markers right under Joseph and Velma. One was for Janice Scribner and the other was for Joyce Lynn Vaughan. If they are also your family I can transfer the management over to you.

Shaffers in Hooper
Hello, I saw that you left flowers for Leola and Robert Shaffer. Did you know them personally? If so, do you know what happened to their daughter Betty Jane?
Thank you and Happy Holidays,

Joseph Gordon Scribner
I just talked with Joseph Gordon Scribner's daughter and she said Joseph is buried in Pines Cemetery in Spokane, WA. Please delete him from the Island Lake Cemetery in Poulsbo.

Joseph and Thornton Scribner
You have both Joseph and his brother Thornton as being buried at Island Lake Cemetery in Poulsbo, WA. Both brothers died in Spokane, Wa and there is no record nor any markers for them at the Island Lake Cemetery. The manager of the cemetery has no record of them being buried there. Thornton's wife, Gladys Scribner, is buried at Island Lake, but she died 6 years after Thornton and probably moved to Kitsap County after his death. Can you confirm that Joseph and Thornton are buried at Island Lake?

I am assisting the Island Lake Cemetery Manager in identifying all burials at the cemetery.

111003279 - Agnes Gauthier Schaff
I see you added this memorial for Agnes in May of 2013, but she was listed in her sons obituary as alive in 2014 and I can not find anything for her death since. (although maybe you will have better luck finding this information) Generally when there is no death date and they are a couple the one with no death date is still alive. My parents are like this; my mother is dead and my father is alive and they share a stone and his birth date is on it but no death date. Just a heads up as it could be upsetting to the folks who are still alive or to their families, to have a memorial on Find A Grave and not be dead. - Thanks.

Elinor Lindberg Collins

I was wondering if you happen to know who is buried on either side of my grandmother, Elinor Lindberg Collins. I am having difficulty identifying her mother's name. I have pieced together her father and brothers but cannot find her mother. I believe she may have been buried in between them???

Thanks for any help that you may be able to provide for this mystery.

Have a Great Weekend!

Patty :)
