Bio

I am no longer working at the local community college in Disability Services, and I miss my job and the boss who hired me, she was wonderful. My job was eliminated because of all the extreme budget cuts to education during the Recession. Right now I am working delivering food.

I love doing ancestry research. I have been working on my family tree & visiting graveyards since the 70's. I welcome any 'cousins' who contact me, especially with family photos, I believe "a picture is worth a thousand words".

My family research is mostly centered in Spartanburg County, SC and surrounding areas, but I have branches scattered all over the country (as most people do).

I have been working to put family pictures on FindAGrave memorials. Sometimes I write & ask to manage a relative's memorial because I know more about them than the creator does, but if a closer relative wants to take over one I have, please do not hesitate to ask.

I strive for accuracy in my memorials, but I do not guarantee it. Please feel free to correct me.

I have lately been adding memorials for my cousin J Richard Gosnell, whose research is concerned with his Gosnell family and related lines in Madison County, NC, Spartanburg, SC, Greenville, SC and connected areas.
