was henry johnson your great grandfather?i grew up about 2 miles from the valverda plantation, and interested in history of la. i have friend whose father grew up in same plantation. her grandfather was caddy james talbot and bought both valverda and woodley plantation. suppose to be down the road a piece from valverda. i am trying to find out if henry johnson owned both plantations.
the talbots tore down the woodley house and put a regular home there to live in and still exists but sold valverda . the johnsons are bured on the property. according to find a grave site. but why is it called woodleys and johnsons cementery? there are two separate plantations. so did henry johnson owned both? where is cementary located/ behind valverda house or behind woodleys home?
there are sites on the internet saying they are buried at woodleys..what is correct
