Bio

I am retired from working a postal job. I am involved with American Legion Aux, Woodmen Life, lead the singing at the Methodist Church. I have a lot of unorganized paper from genealogy. Yes I spend time trying to sort it. I have inherited some charts without asking for them, because the caretakers of them only wanted to record what was on the headstone and nothing else. After flooding some of them with names of parents, children, marriage dates war service, it was received but not recorded on the memorial page. That's when I was given charts without asking for them. In all fairness I have had good results with most grave members. I use Ancestry to prove whoever I am working on. Yes I have a lot of books on Red River Co, Texas. I have not mastered adding pictures but I have a sister that can help me. Please do not assume that I am wanting to transfer a memorial page to me just because I am adding information to it. This just happened to me 5 times from a woman who left no way to decline them. I am enjoying adding info, not collecting leaves from far off, way off 4th, 5th husbands or step-kin. Sometimes you have to follow a trail to find a person and that's when I see mistakes that yes I stick my nose in and try to make corrections. When I do add info, please use a way in your email to me that will take me back to that chart to see that the info was added.
