Lived in OKC most of my life, happily married with six kids. Teach special education in the public schools. Genealogical interests are Laird-Valega-Kane-Blackman-Hawkins at the moment. I appreciate all that the volunteer photographers on this site do, taken a few pictures myself. This includes creating the memorial pages. However, I don't understand why some contributors will not release a memorial for management purposes to a family member of any relation. Often times a relative asking for the transfer of rights to a memorial page certainly has more rights than just someone out photographing anything and everything, with no connection to the majority of the people they created the memorial. Doesn't make sense to me. Do not believe that management rights should be limited when it comes to a relative wanting to take over the memorial page.|

You are correct, in that updating your memorial to reflect the correct cemetery is the better solution. However I would like to point out that neither the other memorial nor the photo on it are mine, I was just trying to clear up a duplicate and didn't notice yours was older. If you want the photo added to your memorial, I am not the person to ask.

Hello! I was doing a little research trying to find this grave so I could fulfill a photo request, and I believe this person isn't actually buried at Elmwood, and your memorial needs to be deleted.
Here's your memorial
Here's a memorial at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East, with a photo of the grave marker.
I thought you might want to fix this.
Hello. I received your email regarding the duplicate memorial. I submitted #175379309. I submitted it as famous but never received a response from Find A Grave.
I don't know the person who submitted the second memorial. I doubt that anything can be done because neither is listed as famous.

Thanks for the pics. They are great. I've rearranged the order but kept them in top spots. It wasn't from lack of respect that I didn't have more bio. I'll make improvements. Thanks.

Yes, we probably are cousins. My mother and I have looked for this cemetery for quite a while. She recently died so I guess I will continue the hunt. I have assumed (that could be scary) that her husband, Issac Ford is buried there too.
I did find Curtis's will in Adair County but I know very little about his life.
Do you have an Ancestry account? Maybe we can share information.
Thank you for your prompt response. It is always nice to find cousins!

I saw where you had added Hannah Ford to the White Cemetery. Hannah is my 3rd great grandmother. She was married to Issac Ford, his son was Thomas Franklin Ford and his son Dewey Ford was my mothers father.
I have been trying to find this cemetery for some time. Do you know where it is located? Any help would be appreciated.

Megan was originally buried in Oklahoma City. She was later moved to Shickley Cemetery, Shickley, Nebraska to our Family Plot. Any other questions let me know.
