My mother gave me a family history book as a gift. I was never much interested in it until one day I found it in a drawer and thought 'I think I'll go thru this and fill in the blanks.' I was surprised how little I knew about my family tree. I started searching and have been at it for about a quarter of a century and still have empty blanks in my book. What a challenge!! But I love doing it.
