I have been retired since 2006, which is when I began researching my family history. I had the good fortune of connecting with a 4th cousin very early in my research. He is largely responsible for the success I have enjoyed in finding my ancestors. I am a member of the Huguenot Society of South Carolina and the Sons of the American Revolution. Through my DNA I have discovered I am 15% Scandinavian, which should not have been a surprise given the history of Europe. I hope to contact as many members of my family and see Find a Grave as a very valuable research tool.
