I am a member of Ancestry and like to research
genealogy. Oaks/Oakes is on my mother's Smith side
of the family. Maggie May Walters/Oaks is my
great grandmother. My grandmother is Ethel Pearl
Oaks/Smith/Harris. My grandfather, Floyd Este Smith, died at age 52.
I've researched my dad's Redding side of the family. We are descendants of Rev. Joseph Redding,
who was born in 1750, in Germantown, Va. His wife
was Martha Spielman.
