I became interested in my family's history a few years ago. It has only been within the past couple of years that I have actually been able to pick up where my aunt left off. |
I was really excited when I found Find-A-Grave. I think it is a wonderful way to connect and remember those who are no longer with us on this earth.
When requesting a transfer, PLEASE give your relationship to the person for which you are requesting the transfer. I honor most requests, but want to know how you are related. Please send these requests through the edit tab under "other suggestions".
If you would like to use any marker photos that I have taken, please feel free to copy them from the full size picture here on Find-A-Grave. My only request is that you list any pertinent info with the photo to help others.
Any family photos I have posted on Find-A-Grave are usually already in Ancestry.com and are not to be copied from Find-a-Grave for any reason. I have added information to the pictures I have posted and get severely irritated when someone copies it and doesn't bother to copy the information. The information is obviously there for a reason.

Ypu requested a lot of edits for my grandma and her parents. Are you in some way related to the Doad Thomas family?
|Ron & Lyn Lysne||Oliver Perry Garrett|
Thank you very much. He was my great grandfather and have been searching for quite some time. Lyn (Garrett) Lysne

Thank you very much.

I think this David was a classmate of mine. Any chance you can find me the obituary? I haven't been able to find it online.
|Jan Byrne||RE: Richard Byrne|
I anticipated some confusion. Dr Lanphear was a doctor in his 50s who fathered a child with a nurse in her 20s. His mother gave him the last name "Byrne" but not legally. The child is my father-in-law.
You have done a great job with my family are you related to the Kluesner's in any way ?
Thanks for the edits. Gordon's memorial has been transferred to you. Take care.

Do you happen to know if this James B. Cannon was once in some sort of relationship with a Gertrude Taschler and ended up having Twin girls. Please let me know at firstname.lastname@example.org Thanks

1st-Thanks for the transfer that you made to me this morning!
2nd-I'm not totally clear on your photo policy. Is it OK to copy the MARKER photo, that you took, to our ancestry.com tree? The way I read your guidelines, markers are OK to copy to "Ancestry" but other personal photos(portraits etc.) are not.
Thanks again for the transfer and for all your contributions to Find A Grave.

Thank you so much for getting back with me regarding my mother. I am in search of family members on her side of the family and again, sadly have had no luck. I wish you the best.
