I really do love a mystery. Of all of my ancestors buried in Melrose and Union Cemeteries in Brockton, MA I found them (after finding death record at Mass. Vital Records that had cemetery listed) driving around the cemetery to locate them and take pics. Love it. Been researching my father's family (branches that came from England that lived in Massachusetts). I would love to find your ancestor's grave too. To help the process though when you know what cemetery they are at, contact that cemetery office and ask for the prinout of that grave (it will give you the lot number and who else is buried there)(you will need the death date for sure and they may charge you for the info). Not all people buried in a plot have their name on the stone.

You have my permission to use the pictures I have taken for your own use.

Not yet, working unmarked burials. Have been picking away at Union for the past year as well. Miss our chats!

Hi, Thank you for looking into photographing this gravestone for me. I have found his plot. He is in Fernwood Section, grave # 2476 at Woodlawn Cemetery. Now do you think you could find him?

Thanks so much, Josie

Rhoda Barnard photo request
I have removed the request for a photo for Rhoda Barnard. I had no idea they were charging for lookups. Why not just provide a searchable database? Anyway, I'll try not to do it again.
Thank you for letting me know.

That you for trying to get the photo for me and I am so sorry for your inconvenience. Woodlawn must be a pretty big cemetery and probably should be on computer so people can check that and not bother the office.

RE: Hanson/Verona McPhee
The fact that Verona and Hanson were buried in different states has nothing to do with them being siblings. They are listed as siblings in the 1901 Census of Gore, Hants, Nova Scotia.

RE: Verona McPhee Hurst
I have no further information on Alfred or Verona.
I have updated Lena's info with her actual name.

RE: Susanna Packard
I hope I responded to your message earlier, but I wanted to make sure I responded, just in case I didn't earlier.

I don't believe I am related to Susanna Packard. Maybe you left your message in the wrong place?

Becca, HNY to you too! Glad I got something right.
The weather will determine my picture taking schedule from now on so let's hope for less snow than last year.
