I transfer all memorials of people who are not related to me to other contributors who will take care of them until family requests them. The memorials I have kept are mostly my grandparents or those of my husband and I will not be transferring those.

My current project is the Ft. Supply Insane Asylum Cemetery. The Insane Asylum was opened in 1908. There's a long history of mistreatment and abuse of the inmates up until the 60s or so. Inmates were buried with simple concrete markers, the majority of which have been damaged. I have been working with the graves list and have spent an enormous amount of time piecing together stone fragments and matching people to a stone and a lot number. Everyone deserves to be known by someone and many of these people were forgotten long ago.
