I began to piece together my family history about 15 years ago, and was able to accelerate my hunts since the growth of genealogy interest on the internet, great sites like FindAGrave, and most importantly, my retirement. Seriously, cemetery visits are a critical part of putting your family humpty dumpty back together again. So if you cannot visit a cemetery, FindAGrave is the next best thing.
