(WIU) as well as MM (Vocal Performance/Vocal Pedagogy/Opera) from the IU School of Music where I also completed my DMA (Doctor of Musical Arts) studies in vocal performance at the IU School of Music with minors in Music History/Literature and Music Education.

I am also a Vocal Teacher & Pedagog (specialist in voice use/misuse and proper vocal technique), having also minored in Vocal Pedagogy while a student at WIU & Indiana University.

I was born December 2, 1954 and I am the daughter of Dr. Harold Gage Hawn (# 61105243) & Eleanore Marie (Demarest) Hawn (# 61105286); the granddaughter of Chalmers Blair Hawn (# 41528016) & Mary Blanche (Lindsay) Hawn (# 91866128), and Dr. Edwin Marcus Demarest (# 85745085) & Ruby Ethel (Keiser) Demarest (# 85745157); the paternal great-granddaughter of William B. Hawn (# 5037710) & Annie M. (Foreman) Hawn (# 5037708) and Harry W. Lindsay & Alice {Rumsport} Lindsay; and the maternal great-granddaughter of Marcus E. Demarest (# 44618914) & Sarah Jane {Neff) Demarest (# 44618915) and Charles Wilson Keiser (# 87986860) & Jennie (Etherton} Keiser (# 92003992).
