My husband and I have been doing family history research for years. We have been to 49 states researching our ancestry. We only need Alaska and we will have been to all 50 states and England. I even have relatives in Alaska and will just have to make that some day. I love the feeling you get when you find a new piece to the puzzle, a new bit of information, or finding someone you have been trying to find for long time. It has been more than once that I have set at my computer with tears running down my face as I type in the newly found information on a "lost" piece of the family.
