I have been doing geneology for my family about 5 years. I would like to help others to find their families. Find a Grave has helped me so much in my research, I hope I may be able to help others as much.|
NOTE: Any and all gravestone & cemetery photos posted by me on Find A Grave are intended for public use... Please consider this as your permission to copy or post any of these photos.

Leslie is unknown to me. You might consider transferring unrelated memorials to Find A Grave, which is member #8. They can sort out who is eligible to take possession of a memorial.

Just FYI, the Heye transfer to me was a part off a large transfer of memorials to be a caretaker. I am taking care of memorials for a cousin.

My apologies for not responding sooner. I had brain surgery a year ago and am just now feeling like trying to catch up. There are many inaccurate connections that I need to fix. I wish the site would not make assumptions about connections.
Yes, we are related. I am the grandaughter of Ira Bee and Dora Mae Burklow, great granddaughter of John Edgar and Effie May Burklow.
I will email you my contact information.

I don't enjoy the searching so much any more because I hope almost as much as you do that I will find a nice medieval grave marker for the person . Instead I am finding cleared graveyards , churches and memorials destroyed in the Great Fire of London , churches rebuilt and then destroyed in German incendiary attacks in 1941 , graveyards sold off because the land is extremely valuable in London ...... or headstones used as pavement or simply left to weather and become illegible . It becomes disheartening .
I went into London with a list of 112 people and I found 3 only.
That particular church is so beautiful it's worth the trip all on its own but I find myself angry at the general lack of care for the graves of people who are supposed to be ' In Memoriam ' .

If my photo was in bad quality I may have not added it to Findagrave. Could you provide the name you are interested in? I will look in my photo files to see if they did have a stone.

Yes, they're cousins on my wive's side. Transfer would be ok with me. Thank you. If you have anything on other sides of family, would appreciate it. Bob

Thank you very much for taking the photo and explaining that he is buried in an unmarked grave. At least we now know where his grave is located and we assume that his wife is there in the same unmarked grave.
|BILL SLEMMER||RE: Claytons|
