RE: Lavina Linaweaver
Who is Lavina's first husband? Buried at St James? Did you notice that there are 2 memorials for Lavina?

So glad to be able to help. It looked like they had cleaned some of the stones since the last time I was out there. She is almost to the back fence (as you might be able to tell from the top picture).

I just saw this, so sorry for the delay, yes, you are correct, the paper and her stone state she passed away in 1930.

RE: Herman Martens
Greetings. On Find a Grave, those who create the memorials have no control over the photos added. I would not have placed a memorial to someone else on Herman's memorial.

Some people justify the practice because they "share" a plot, however, this is usually just a nethod of "padding" their photo contribution numbers. It doesn't mean there is necessarily any relationship to the deceased identified in the memorial header.

For example, I own a half-plot in a cemetery. (A full plot being space for four full size caskets.) On my last visit there, I found someone unrelated to me, someone I never heard of, buried in one of the graves in the other half-plot.

If this is a family member of yours, use the edit tab on the memorial and request a transfer of management to you. Once you manage the memorial, you can ask the photographer to remove the photo. If he does not do so, you can contact Find a Grave management staff, and they'll remove it for you.

All the best,

RE: Mary Ryan
Lenard Ryan was buried next to Mary. I made a page and added his photo and and one of both of their graves. I will gladly transfer it to you if you would like and remove the second photo. It was a beautiful day.

Sorry about that. I will look into that. I need to also see about posting her picture. I believe her granddaughter Caroline Fee has a photo of her.
