Hello, I love to help people find their roots. Along with finding ancestors, people should find out where their loved ones are buried, or cremated. This will help to build up a database where others can connect and find new cousins and family members. This is about bringing people together and sharing information.

I have been researching the KRUSE family from old Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Germany, since 1999. I was able to discover the old church that had the family records in Neukirchen, near the Baltic Sea Coast, and 100 miles northwest of Berlin. The Hamburg Ship departure manifest in 1869 of the steamship "Allemannia" showed the old town of Viezen that carried my Great Grandfather John Kruse, his siblings, and his mother, my Great Great Grandmother Maria Jenning Kruse. The old church records date back into the 17th Century.
