Bio

I am the eldest son of Colonel Donald Pershing Watts and Mary Louise (Swint) Watts. I am also the family historian for the Watts / Goetschius / Chambers / Johnson / White / Story / Alkire / Layton / Waples / Harper/ Brink clan on my fathers side and the Swint (Gschwind) /Reineck / Schwartz / Batt (Bott) / Rimmelspach / Freeh / Spieldenner / Gabel / Ottney clan on my mothers side. My paternal ancestors were early pioneers of Franklin County and were soldiers in the Revolutionary War, War of 1812, the Civil War, WW1, WW2, and Korea. My paternal ancestors go all the way back to the Mayflower (Peregrine White), born on the Mayflower). Most of my paternal ancestors immigrated from the New England States and the Albany area New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and settled in Franklin County, Ohio.My maternal ancestors immigrated from Alsace Lorraine and the Baden area of Germany and were some of the early pioneers of Cheektowaga, Erie County, New York and Sandusky County, Ohio. Some served as soldiers in the Mexican War, Civil War, WW1, WW2, Korea, Vietnam.I do not do transfers as all of my Find A Grave Memorials are my anscestors. I will be more than happy to do add ons, corrections, and/or biography submissions.
