Have been working on genealogies of my parents' extended families. I like to follow the original immigrants to the USA and trace all their descendants. That makes the histories large, but I am always amazed at how many generations people keep contact with each other in their extended families. I have written one book about the Thorsness and Monson families (and related Lindgren family). I am now working on the Skindelien and Smedhaugen/Peterson/Lien families from Norway. I have done a lot of old-fashioned shoe leather research. Mostly I like to fill in missing information on Find-a-Grave entries such as locations, and relatives.
