I have been interested and consistently working on my direct family line history for many years and as that often leads to researching extended lines, my research often carries me far afield of direct lines.

I began using FAG several years ago primarily seeking confirmation of elements of my family line. Over time, I came to realize that more and more family history colleagues are not only checking FAG for records but are indeed making valuable contributions to the larger field of genealogy and providing a great opportunity to link family members directly to create a holistic picture.

Given the ever growing access to historical records available to all, I decided to become a member and like many others, started creating memorial pages for my direct line and additionally, extended lines.

I try to provide as accurate and complete information as I can with the source information I reference but recognize that in a non-perfect world, mistakes are inevitable.

Should you find mistakes in the memorial pages I create and/or you wish to add additional information, I am very open to both and gladly welcome feedback accordingly.

In addition, if I have created a memorial page that is a close relative of your's and you would like to take ownership, I am happy to transfer maintenance responsibility to you based on the guidelines established by FAG.
