Hi Everyone!

Please note that I follow Find A Grave guidelines and DO NOT post a full obituary that I have not written on the memorials. I will extract who the parents were, and a spouse and marriage date if possible. I will also post where I found the memorial/obituary so the full information can be found.

SO IF YOU ARE SENDING ME AN EDIT THAT CONTAINS AN OBITUARY PLEASE PROVIDE THE SOURCE. I won't do anything without the source information.

I appreciate the memorials that contain the obituary. I will not add obituaries to the memorials I manage unless the obituary is obviously in the public domain (e.g. before 1923). Not knowing whether the copyright is owned by the family, the funeral home, or the newspaper.

If you have found an obituary for a 100-year-old death please also cite the newspaper and the date it was published.

If I can find the person's parents, beyond a shadow of a doubt I will link them. But I do not spend a lot of time researching to find that link.

Any picture that I take for this site you are welcome to us.... Make sure to check out the Iowa GenWeb site if you are looking for loved ones in central Iowa, they are doing a wonderful job of documenting cemeteries. Those photos are copyright protected but it can help you locate someone and then ask for a photo here.
