Bio

I've been working on my family's genealogy since the late 1980s, but I have only been giving it serious attention since the late 1990s.

Occasionally my wife and I will travel to cemeteries for research, and when we do if the cemetery isn't very large we photograph all of the headstones and I upload the photos to Find-a-Grave. If the cemetery is large then we usually take a list of Find-a-grave Photo Requests for that cemetery and see if we can find any of them.

All pictures that I upload to Find-A-Grave are uploaded with the hope that they will aid someone in their genealogy research. And I give my permission to everyone to use photos that I upload to Find-A-Grave for your genealogy research. You may upload them to your tree on Ancestry.com, or use them however you choose in your genealogy research. All that I ask is that:
1) The photos shouldn't be uploaded (to be used as general reference material) to websites that compete with, or offer similar services to, Find-A-Grave.
2) The photos should be used respectfully, and shouldn't be turned into Memes or used for illegal or immoral purposes.
3) If you use a photo, please site it with my name and the date the picture was taken/uploaded.

If any of the pages I manage need updated, please use the Edit option on that page. I would be happy to make whatever changes are necessary. And I use Find-A-Grave's guidelines for transferring management of pages as needed.

As far as duplicate pages go, I make every effort to avoid creating duplicate pages. If I created page that is a duplicate for a page that was created before mine, please let me know and I will delete my duplicate.

So, I think that is all of the basic stuff. Feel free to contact me here or by email.
