Retired from a career in high tech engineering and project management, R. Linn Ready has resumed a long deferred project to explore and document family history. Principal ancestral lines of interest include the Freeman and Seneff families of western Pennsylvania; the Wightman and Yeamans families who arrived in the New World from England shortly after the Mayflower and over many generations, migrated from New England, through central New York to become pioneers and Citizens of the Republic of Texas (as members of Stephen F Austin's second colony in Matagorda County Texas). He also researches the Ready line from pre-Civil War era Georgia as they migrated through Alabama and settled in East Texas.
