Aug, 2012. I am the daughter of Marcus WAYNE Brockman & Wanda Ellen Dunavin Brockman , and the Granddaughter of Marcus Andrew Brockman & Mary Belle Lovell Brockman; Oscar M (Milt or Milton) Dunavin & Willetta G Townsend Dunavin, and the great-granddaughter of Hiram "Boss" Dunavin and Belle Sullivan or Sullins(ens?) Dunavin. I would love to hear from any relatives to help me "get-to-know" my Dunavin side & to proudly add to my family tree. Thankfully, I did know one of my Mom's brothers, James "Jimmy" Dunavin. I loved this uncle very much and was so happy to know him. he had 2 sons around my age, Bobby & James, I think. I didn't get to know them really well, but I am thankful for the times I did get to spend with them. I was probably 12 or 13 when I last saw them and maybe just a couple of years older when I last saw Uncle Jim....he ran a little general store in Ringgold, TX, I think. I am so sad that I never got to know or even meet any other Dunavins....and not too long ago, I found out that my Grandfather Dunavin lived not far from me growing up. I am very proud to be "a Dunavin" and am looking forward to becoming a "DAR" member thru my Dunavin heritage. (That process is going to be a challenge....just gathering the proof that I need.....but I'm up for the challenge! I surely would appreciate any help from any Dunavin!) I would love to hear from any Dunavin or anyone knowing the Dunavin families. Fortunately, I have a lot of ancestry info on my Brockman side....
