My GEDmatch is A072606.

Some words I came across & thought they reflect why we are on this site . . "A cemetery is a history of people, a perpetual record of yesterday & a sanctuary of peace & quiet today. A cemetery exists because every life is worth loving & remembering, always." ~ Author Unknown

I guess I'm semi-1st generation Australian, my father emigrated from Lisburn, Nth Ireland before WW2. My mother's ancestors are from Cornwall (Capel, Odgers, Dunstone, Waters & Jones), with a few from England (Philp & Dabb), a few Irish (Marrs & Talbot) and a few Scots (Boyd & Salmon) who arrived in Australia in the 1800s, some by choice & some not so, the odd convict or two seems an Aussie tradition. Many were miners & with links to many mining towns within Australia & the US.

Names that I'm researching:
Woods, Skelly, Jeffers, Mallon, Capel, Odgers, Clymo, Waters, Jones, Dunstone (Dunstan), Philp, Marrs, Talbot, Dabb, Young, Ross, Boyd, Dickson & McClure

I welcome any corrections & happy to transfer non-direct relatives to closer cousins etc..
For each memorial please use the "EDIT" button& then the "Suggest a Correction" to request transfer or corrections.

For a transfer request, please let me know your connection, we may be cousins. Please do not forget to add your FIND A GRAVE number.

Please feel free to use any cemetery or grave photos I have posted for your use, public or private.

Duplicates are strictly against FindAGrave policy so any I have created are unintentional. Cemetery records contain inaccuracies or misspelt transcribing can cause this. Please use the "Report Duplicate" button via the "Suggest Edits" - Under the memorial photo space is the Report Duplicate button.

Please don't forget the "Edit Virtual Cemetery info" link if you want to combine any memorial of interest. You can link those memorials you do not control into a nice family group or other type of list, such as they served together during a conflict.
