I live in Southern California. I was born and raised in Derby, England, immigrating to the US in 1987.

I understand from my mother that I could often be found at the tender age of 4 in Nottingham Road Cemetery, Derby, England, (which was just a very short walk down the road from home), mixing with Jewish mourners and joining in with their chant. I have no recollection of this, and with no particular religious faith I'm not sure why I joined in with the chanting but can only assume I enjoyed the sound of it all :)

I guess the interest in cemeteries has remained with me all these years.

I enjoy researching my family history and it's through this that I found "Find A Grave" in July, 2012 where I located a head stone of an ancestor of mine. This prompted me to do the same thing to help others find gravestones of other peoples ancestors.

I love photography so this also helps my passion for it.
