I am new to this and want to be able to help others if I can like I have been helped. I am in a wheel chair due to auto accident when I was 29 but I am able to get out and search cemeteries in order to help others. Been searching for my ancestors since 2003 when I got my computer before that I spent days at the Louisville library searching their records and have some good luck and some stone walls . I go into genealogy chat to learn more . Every day is a learning experience for me .So far most of my family am searching is in KY.

I was born and raised in Louisville,KY,so I know Louiville pretty well and its easy for me to search their cemeteries as well as the few that are close to me . The majority of my family is buried at Cave Hill and Resthaven but I can go to any of them .

My parents are Ruth L Baker Powell Beasy, her parents were Nellie Frances Emmons Baker and Ernest L Baker Sr. her gr grandparents were Charles L Emmons who was married to a Mary Thompson Emmons. Her gr grandparents on the Baker side was Levi Baker and Ida Bell Arnold

My father was Vernon Powell, his parents were Fred Powell Gr grandparents were Edward Lawrence Powell and Mattie Belle Morrison Powell. Zowa F. LaCrosse Powell ( his mother) was the daughter of daughter of Philip LaCrosse of Montreal Canada and Gabrielle Cameron LaCrosse Thomas
