Thank you for pointing out I had the wrong cemetery. I've moved the memorial. Are you related or a friend? If you'd like a transfer, please let me know.

Best regards,
Bernadette

Hi, I found the marker for this man and his wife at Bethel Community Cemetery in Canton, NC, not this one in Asheville. So, if you would, could you change him to the correct cemetery? I have added a grave picture and sent an edit to the owner of the memorial for his wife as well.
Thanks,
David

re: CHarles Harden Stinson (#159634217)
Thought you'd like to know -- I was in Bear Creek today and was able to get photos of Charles Harden Stinson's grave marker(s). (FWIW: he's a second cousin once-removed.) I also noticed that his wife, who died not long after him, wasn't on F.A.G., so I added her as well.

My mothers memorial
I would be most appreciative if you would please transfer my mothers memorial to me. It has been a year since she passed and I would like to have her memorial as I do my fathers.
It is for Deborah J Drake

RE: Piedmont Flight 22
Had you added the memorial pictures as a photo? Or were they added as a virtual flower, and then they were changed to the forget me not? Because if you had added them as a virtual flower, that wouldn't be proper. The photo of the memorial should be added as a regular photo is added, with the information in the caption. Yes, you can create a memorial for the memorial site, even though no one is buried there. You can post pictures of the memorial, and also of the crash if you desire. Put the name all in the last name field. So if you called it Piedmont Flight 22 Memorial, all of that is entered in the last name field. Then in the bio field a description of what occurred. If the memorial is located in a cemetery, you'll use the cemetery name. If it's on public land by itself, then you'll create a cemetery for it. After you've created it, you can submit it to Findagrave to be marked as a memorial site. When they take it over, you won't be able to edit it yourself, you can submit edit suggestions. So I wouldn't submit it right away. I think it was 6 months or more before I submitted the Iowa Memorial, after re-writing the bio section a couple of times before I was satisfied with it. Findagrave will place the memorial in their "Famous Graves" in the "Claim to Fame" section, Memorial Sites. That's where the USS Iowa Memorial is located.

RE: Piedmont Flight 22
I don't understand about the pictures of the memorial and why they were removed. There are some pages that have a photo of the plaque with all the names listed. You can post photos of the memorial to any of the pages I manage. Have you created a page for the Piedmont Flight 22 Memorial? I created the USS Iowa Turret Two Memorial page (# 37251871) and a photo of the memorial is on the pages of all 47 men, with a link to the memorial. Unless the manager of the page requested to have it removed, all the memorial photos are still there. I don't know why your memorial photos would have been removed, as it does pertain to the person, so is appropriate.

RE: Piedmont Flight 22
Hi Kevin, thanks for your note. The only connection I have to Piedmont Flight 22 is my father started working for Piedmont in 1966. He worked in Wilmington, so wasn't involved in the crash. He retired in 1999, of course it was USAir by then. I have requested to join the FB group. I live in Roan Mountain, TN, so only a couple of hours from Hendersonville, but probably wouldn't be able to make the 50th Anniversary due to work.

RE: Memorial# 177502105
Greeting!
Thank you for creating this page for my sister - Maria Theresa Walker. Our cousin in VA just informed me of Terry's death ... whom I've been estranged from since 1976.
I would appreciate you transferring this page to me:
Volunteer #46577499 ... as it is definitely within the Find A Grave 'guidelines'.
Thank you for your participation in this website project! Sometimes our 'work' is the only way other family members know of someone's death - as it so happens, in this particular case. And thank you, in advance, for your choosing to comply with Find A Grave guidelines!
Blessings to you, as you continue on this worthy journey.
