I have been intrigued with cemeteries all my life, the older the better. As I wander through them I can't help but notice all the little trinkets that get left behind, just reminders of a love lost. Each marker tells it's own story, yet so many questions have to go unanswered. I've been photographing cemeteries for years because I think they're beautiful, peaceful and a comforting place for many. There is sadness there for those who have lost a loved one, but for me, it's a great history lesson. Taking pictures for "Find A Grave" is the best adventure I've been on in a long time. And if I can be a part of YOUR search, then I'm doing what I was meant to do.
