Find a Grave ID

Bio

I have retired from the USPS and am looking forward to getting back into genealogy research. I have been researching since the early 1980s. I have collected many names and photos. Please contact me to fix any errors on any of my postings.
I am also known as a "grave witcher"! I was contacted by someone in 1990 to see if there was room for their father near other relatives in the Clear Creek Cemetery. I told him it was an old section of the cemetery and I wasn't sure. He went to his car and brought back 2 copper tubing rods that were bent at right angles. He walked across the cemetery and announced that the section was clear. I tried it and sure enough the rods crossed where there were known graves.
Col. Joe Ellison and I walked the whole Clear Creek Cemetery in Leon Co, TX and noted the rows and plots for each grave and unmarked graves. We also witched the Bethesda Cemetery in Leon County, TX.
