Bio

Find a Grave is a volunteer project. Sometimes the data on the marker, newspaper obit, or other document such as death certificate does not match up. Also some families have multiple spellings of their last name. I am not responsible for that. If Findagrave adds a new feature , such as the vet symbol, I add those when I have time especially if there is a flag or a military designation already on the monument.
Do not transfer memorials to my name without me approving. I am not related to all of the accounts that I add info to or add to findagrave. Adding memorials help people who are trying to locate their relatives. Most people don't think about keeping accurate cemetery records or linking family members until they are researching, so in my free time I try to fill in the gaps. Please be patient if an edit is suggested or an error made. This format does not require that all submissions are accepted. If you send a verifiable document to support the entries suggested, then it is more likely to be accepted. Some families have expressed a desire to have limited or altered information added to an existing memorial. There are other online sites (some free) for people to obtain detailed information and family research. Some cemeteries cooperate and some cemeteries refuse to assist the findagrave volunteers. It is at the discretion of the volunteer as to what is on the memorial. Anyone can upload a photo, flower or document if they choose. Please do not harass the people who volunteer their time.
