Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am retired from MICH CON GAS CO a/k/a DTE ENERGY and I live in NorthEast Michigan.
I was the Maple Ridge Township Clerk for six (6) years and kept the Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery records at that time. Later on I volunteered to work on the Cemetery Committee regarding cemetery expansion and improvements after more land was purchased.
I find Find-A-Grave more interesting when photos are posted of the deceased person as well as their headstone photos. I am presently doing family research and find family and friend cemetery memorials very interesting; but many have no information at all. That's when things get interesting!
I will help whenever I can to add needed information and photos, etc.

RE: re Piotr Dziesinski Grave Marker
Hello, There might have been a grave stone at some time in the past. I am not sure. Several years ago my Aunt told me that old stones sometimes crumble and fall apart and the cemetery has to remove them to cut the grass. I can't say this is what happened (my Aunt is now deceased) but it is possible. I am sorry I could not find anything.

I actually have no idea how that happened as Wirt and Violet were my grandparents and the other pic is aunt and uncle. No access to computer right now and won't let me edit from my phone. Thanks for the heads up though. Are we related?

Hi, Jeanne.

I deleted the memorial that I posted. I believe your David Edward Leary is actually in West Belmore cemetery. The description "David E. Leary's grave is located in Belmore Cemetery which is less than a mile west of Belmore on the south side of Road Y" is a description of the West Belmore cemetery.

When I get time, I will go back to see if there is anything on the other side of the monument.

RE: Franklin T Leary Photos, etc
You are very welcome. I also added a memorial with photo for David E. Leary (172692838) because it is located next to Frank and Lucy.

You're welcome. I actually knew exactly where to look as I took some photos in the lot next to them the other day. I saw her name in the cemetery records so she may be buried in that lot. Check with the cemetery first to confirm.
