Studied Genealogy and Local Family History at BYU, Provo UT; and American History & Geography at Wright State Univ., Fairborn OH; graduated from BGSU, Bowling Green OH, with a B.A. in History in 1984.

Served in the Army from 1968-1975, and as a Claims Rep at SS from 1977-1981, before retiring on disability. Published several family histories since 1975, and a large volume on the Barron Family in America 1692-1983.
