Thanks so much.
|Michael Tabor||Use of photo|
Good morning Rhonda,
I am Michael Tabor and I live in Indiana.
I am currently working on a family history book about the descendants of Basil M. Tabor of Carter County, KY. Some of Basil's great grandchildren are buried at the Cottage Hill Cemetery in Brazil, IN.
I am asking your permission to use the photos you posted in my work. If give permission I would credit you by placing under each photo a statement such as "Courtesy of Rhonda Tincher" or whatever wording you prefer.
You may reply here or directly at firstname.lastname@example.org
Thanks for your help.

I was sorry to see that this lady had died; she had left a query on the Clay County Archive site and I was hoping we could help one another. I do have some of the info she was looking for, and am still trying to figure out if her Willis family and mine are connected. I live in Missouri, near where the family lived in the 1800s, and have recently been contacted by a descendant of Montreville. If anyone is carrying on Mary's work, we would like to hear from them.

Okay, thank you. I am also trying to determine if this Erwin is of the "James Erwin and Elizabeth Erwin" is the biological parent of my Great Uncle Don Haley.

Do you live close enough to verify her death date? In the pic you provided it appears to be 1970-ish.
|L. Burnett||Mary Alice White|
Thanks for your help. I have found the death certificate for Mary Alice White on line at Ancestry.com. It lists the parents of Mary Alice White as
Father: Joseph Brockney
Mother: Lydia Ann Johns
I believe that Reese Johns was the name of Lydia's stepfather
Note that Joseph Brackney married Lydiann Watts in Putnam County, Indian in 1851
I believe that Johns was the name of Lydia's stepfather. Lydia Sarchett's death certificate
lists her parents as
Father: Ira Watts
Mother: Alice Sarner
Because of copyright laws I'm not certain about getting you a copy of Lydia's obit. It is on Newspaper Access which is a program at my public library. I'll see what I can do with that but I don't want to put it up in a public place. It listed her daughter as Mrs. John White. Note either the 1910 or 1920 census that lists Lydia Sarchet as Mother-in-law of John O White.
