Gina, Thanks for doing the update. Not a family member, but I appreciate the offer.

I actually have a picture of her headstone. (Octavia Jones Carver Shell) The findagrave member that sent the request has been in contact with me regarding associated family. Let me know, if you want me to post it so you don't have to go out. Don't know why I didn't get around to adding it. Regards,Danna

Hi Gina - Head north up Capital Blvd past Wake Forest. Take a right on 96 (there is a sign there saying Youngsville). Go down that road, merge onto US1, which is called Park at this point. When you get to the intersection where the gas station is on the left and a liquor store is on the right and there is a road to the right of center and another one almost straight ahead, go to the right of center on and almost immediately turn left and then an almost immediate right. Now you should be on College St. Follow it a kilmeter or two until you see the cemetery on the right.
Before writing this, I added the location to Google Maps. I don't know how long it might take to get it approved there.
Let me know if these directions are wonky and I'll try to refine them if that's the case.

Sure, Gina. Go ahead and make a memorial for Bervin Jr. I am not related at all but just trying to help someone who is related to Bervin's mother. I'm actually not related to anyone in NC (except my husband) so if you ever run across a memorial I've made that you would like transferred, I am always happy to do that.

Hmmm, if I requested a photo of his stone so soon after his passing, it was a mistake on my part. I'm sorry for having you go to that cemetery for nothing. I think it's best to wait until he has a stone before posting any photos. Thanks for asking and, again, my apologies.

You are wonderful, and so prompt.
Thank you again. This has been a big help.
|Kristal Hinds Singletary||Worth Henry & Iola Evelyn Long Baker|
Thank you so much for adding the headstone for Worth Henry Baker (Find A Grave#113500063). From your photo, I was able to locate information on his wife, Iola Evelyn Long Baker, and add a memorial for her (Find A Grave#113658705).
If you have the time and it's not too much trouble, could you add the photo of the headstone to Mrs. Baker (Find A Grave#113658705)? Or with your permission, I would be happy to copy the photo and add it myself with attribution to you providing in the comments section of the photo on Mrs. Baker's page.
Please let me know which works for you and thank you again for taking this photo. God bless!
|Lynette Miller||Timberlake, Carroll, & Carter Photos|
Thank you so much for taking the time to locate, photo, and upload the gravestone photos for Robert Earl Timberlake, James Edward Carroll, Edna Carroll, and Marian Carter. I love the two-shots on James'--the patriotic flag in the upper right-hand corner. I also appreciate your uploading Edna's without a photo request. I maxed out of photo requests for the week. Thank you for all the photos. They're great. I am trying to locate the cemeteries for several family members related to this branch and suspect they may have been buried at Harris Chapel but cannot confirm. I hate to set up memorials not knowing for sure they're in that cemetery and have someone search needlessly. If you ever make another trip to Harris Chapel, let me know and I might have a list by then of other members to watch for--that is if you're interested. Lynette
|Wanda Turner||Charles Shirley|
Thank you for adding Charles headstone.
Thank you for posting the Shirley photo. It is greatly appreciated.
