I am a hobby pilot although I have over 1233 hours and flown 11 single engine types including a refurbished P51-D in Perth , Australia. My dad was a veteran and I attended several remembrance services with him.Reluctantly, at first.Getting up at 4am on a Sunday is not my favourite Sunday thing. But it grew on me. He sadly passed away 2 years ago so this is my first 11-11-11 Nov.without him. I shall attend this time in civilian , wearing his ex-services tie and his medals,before mine. I shall be Karanji this Sunday and will also listen in on the BBC's broadcast later on Sunday. I am a past president of the British Alumni and I hope that I can get some alumni members to attend next year.
