Bio

I became interested in looking into our Pearce and Thomas families as I knew very little about either side. My father was Johnnie Lee Pearce and my mother was Pauline Thomas who died when I was only 6. After we left my Granny Armstrong's home (Rosetta Plunk Pearce Armstrong)my younger sister and I were separated and I lived in many places including with our brother and older sister, Nita. I am still learning how to go about finding relatives and getting accurate verifications. I am married to a wonderful, retired aerospace engineer who supports me in all my "hobbies". Doing stained glass work, preferably large pieces, is my passion, also do oil painting, sing with a senior group that visits nursing homes, and since my own bout with breast cancer, am an ardent advocate for research and fundraising which includes participating in the Komen 60 mile walk in Dallas each Nov. This will be my 5th year to do this and my 4th to walk the 60 miles.
