Bio

I really love doing this and helping others find lost relatives not just in my areas, but from anywhere. That being said:

I am 7th generation from Watonwan County and some of my information is known first hand because I am related to most of the people from there. My grandmother. a centenarian, was a great story teller and I listened. My husband's family has also been in this area for about 150 years, some helped capture the Younger Brothers! This also extends into Blue Earth County and Brown County. I would love to try to help find relatives, just let me know.

I pride myself in having accurate memorials even if some information is missing. If there are any corrections, I would be happy to fix them. Changes must and will be verified, not just because you say so or somebody else says so. Do not be offended if I ask for proof.

Just because a person lived in an area does not mean that's where they were born or died. Many Scandinavian names are repeated over and over so definite proof for these is needed. These are memorials, not family trees. Those are better served on a different site.

Be kind and courteous when making suggestions. Please do not use the "suggest other corrections" button on the memorials to rant at me. That is not what it's for. I find it very rude and those messages will be deleted without being read.

Yes, I know my messages are turned off.

I have also done extensive research on the Stockholm Lutheran Church in Wright County, MN and other families from that same area. I have access to all records and am able to help those who are looking for Swedish ancestors who were in this area.
