Husband & Wife cemetery walker team. Originally got into the find a grave site after discovering a find a grave memorial for a very close family member that lived in a different state whom we lost contact with. We are so appreciative to all of the photo volunteers that have fulfilled our requests and help fill in the blanks of our family tree, so here we are paying it back! We photograph all around California mostly of entire rows of cemeteries and do so on various weekends. |
All our photographs are copyright free so use them as you wish, of course giving credit is appreciated :) All of our photos were done using a Kodak M350 12MP digital camera however as of late November 2014, we are using our new Sony DSC-W830 20.1 MP camera. Having done this many photos some are bound to have turned out no so stellar or perhaps can use a re-shoot. Message us if you would like to to re-take a certain headstone and we will try our best. We now try to take at least two photos for each headstone: One to show the stone and inscription and another to show the headstone as well as the area nearby.
Also, if we receive an edit / SAC request, please be aware that we will ask for 'proof' to validate the accuracy of the information that is suggested for a correction. Do not take it personally, it's not that we doubt you ;) ,... we just strive for the most accurate of information on these memorials and having a source of these facts will help us learn more and have these edits processes ASAP. We do transfers within the Find-A-Grave guidelines but will add any correct and verified information you have to a memorial.
R.I.P & respect always to our departed loved ones, including but not limited to: Virginia M Halbrook "Nana", Gerald James Halbrook "Tata Jerry", Jennie M Reynoso "Nina", Ruperta Campos "Mama", Gerald Wade Johnson, Ira Johnson, Frank Abbott "Papa", Pamela Ann Sequiera, Aimee W., Arthur "Tudy" Delatorre, Steve Delatorre & Anthony Delatorre, Stephen Ratliff, Manxy Hamilton, and all those we love and lost far too early

|gerry13||Jack Mecca and Joseph & Lucia Mecca|
Rachel Shaw had left a message about Jack Mecca. Joseph & Lucia Mecca are my grandparents. Jack was my Uncle. He is in fact the same person of both graves. First I want to say thank you for posting his marker. I had not seen it. When my grandmother died in 1965 I was told that Jack's stone was broken and he was moved to be with his parents. They had his name added to that stone. The family still owns the plot that he had been in.

|Elizabeth Whittaker-Williams||Agnes "Daisy" M. Wright|
I would appreciate it if you would remove the parents for Agnes. We do appreciate that you have given reference to her grave. Thank you.
My cousins and I have been searching for years for information, leading to proof of family information on our Grandmother.
Because of DNA we have information that is leading us to find her family.
From information given to our parents we know that Joseph Wright (1840 - 1889)
Mary Elizabeth Daly Wright (1859 - 1915) are not her mother or father.
The photo of Agnes and the sweet child (my mother Laura O’Donnell) was taken in 1922 in Staten Island, New York.
The photo of Agnes (wearing the hat) was taken in abt.1917
If you want proof of who I am; please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org Subject Agnes M. Wright
As soon as we have proof, my cousins and I will inform you of the information.
Thank you, Elizabeth Whittaker-Williams, Sharleen O’Donnell Lozano, Kathleen Garrigan Geiger.
|Daphene Willoughby||RE: Denny/ Winfree family|
Thank you for making the requested change. It is my husband that is related to the Winfree family.
One of his great (times ?)aunt was married to Thomas Luther Winfree (Sarah Catherine Willoughby). Also, I do have a small link in that one of my great (times ?) uncles married Mary A Winfree (Joseph Thomas Hardcastle).
|B J||RE: Henry J. Brusstar|
did a little research and yes they are father and son. I will link them together. The wife of the father is Etta Gordon. BJ

|Ida Nunley||RE: William Marker|
William Marker is listed in as the sole child of Ezra and Laura V Marker in the 1870 census of sharpsburg, Washington , Maryland. In the 1900 census the family has moved to Denver Co. William H Marker remains the oldest child listed of 10 living children of Ezra and Laura V Marker. That 1900 census records his birthdate as February 1870 in Maryland. In 1902 he marries in Golden, Colorado, but in the 1910 census he is back in Denver with his wife and daughters. in 1920 the 4 are living in Oakland Californis. He and his wife are listed on his daughters marriage cert. His headstone records his birth as F b 1970. I hope this is acceptable.
|Kathae Sindel||Mary Downey (Alice Hanley/Dow??)|
Mary Downey/Hanley buried St. Mary's Cemetery on Memorial page has a Alice Hanley Dow (1859-1918). I do not think this is accurate. On Ancestry.com Miller-Honold tree have been compiling information--there was an Alice born 1877. Michael were married in Michigan and had their first 3 children there. Any way to contact where info came from so I can find out if correct?? Thank you Kathae email@example.com
|William Davis||RE: Thank YOU!!|
Thank you for responding and for what you are doing here...its priceless. My fathers name is William Davis and his oldest son my brother is Edward Davis. Vivian is my dad's sister and I only just a few days ago when I found your site realized she had passed and in 1998. I was 8 when Ed died and 11 when Dad passed...Went through years of foster home hell and dont really know how I made it all these years. I am planning a visit to the grave site in the next few weeks, have never been to my dads grave. You are truly good people to do this, again thank you so much for the work you both have done here and just know this...
It makes a difference. Thats no small thing.
|William Davis||Thank YOU!!|
I have wondered where my dad and brother are buried, long story but was very young when I lost them...Cannot tell you how much this find means to me...
You guys are making many people happy and helping to put together the lost pieces of the puzzle.
