You took her gravestone pic in 2014, and I know this is such a slim hope that you would remember, but maybe you took notes? or the next time you go out to this cemetery. Her stone says wife of James, I assume that's James Bishop. It appears that he is not buried near her? Thanks, again for any help, just trying to fill in the blanks on this ancestor. Have a good day!

RE: Photo

I have raised this with Find-a-Grave as I did not make any changes to your memorials. This has happened a number of people, so i do not know what has happened as I did not make any changes to your memorials

What is your source for Herbert S. Dallam,
Birth: Dec. 1, 1836
Livingston County
Kentucky, USA
Death: Jun. 14, 1862
Franklin County
Ohio, USA,
being buried at Mills Cemetery in Livingston County, KY, near Salem?

I have a UDC source from March 18, 1940 that gives his burial at Oak Grove Cemetery at Paducah, KY.

Ho, Ho, Ho,

Forgot about deer season. One time, when I was there, there were two spent shotgun shells on top of the stone! Must be squirrels there.

Hello Jerry,

When you feel that the copperheads have retired for the winter I hope you can take a picture of the big Mahan monument in the Forman/Gossage Cemetery and post it on the The Find A Grave website. Any chance you can put the other Mahans on the website?

Thanks and hope you have a nice Thanksgiving.

RE: Forman-Gossage Cemetery
Mr. Bebout,

Thanks for the quick response. Sorry to hear what happened to the headstone. There is a long story about that stone. I have been there a couple of times. Once was with my father and once with Norris Martin, a cousin. Not sure I could find it anymore. Tried to get in there about three years ago but getting over that rocky waterway at the yellow bar caused me to rethink the situation. I was also afraid I couldn't get turned around. The gate from the Mitchell Loop was locked. Ben and Mary were my grandparents. I grew up in Marion. My father was Claude Mahan, son of Ben and Mary.

You would have to have help getting that stone reset!

Forman-Gossage Cemetery
Mr. Beabout,

In the Forman-Gossage Cemetery in Livingston County, KY, do you not have a picture of the large Mahan tombstone at the grave of Benjamin F. Mahan and Mary Mahan?
