My mom was raised in Dallas, Oregon. Our pioneer ancestors settled in Scotts Mill, Molalla, Oregon City, [Lake] Oswego, Tualatin, Eugene, Stafford, Astoria, Silverton, and many other towns in Clackamas County.

My paternal line is mostly in Tennessee, primarily in Linden and other parts of Perry County. Surnames include Duncan, Jones, Kimble, Oliphant, Evans, Tucker, Daniel, Crockett, and O'Guin.
