I have enjoyed using Find A Grave as well as ancestory.com. I find these sights to be loaded with information about our families who have paved the way for us.
I have many family members in my tree such as Cowart, Ballew, Long, Smith, Chadwick, Morrison, Dunlap, Russell, Cash, White, Searcy, Dover, Tyler, Moore, Loposser, and Adams. On the wife's family I am looking for Whitaker,Stanley,Pless,Paris,Kirby,Holt,Ragsdale,Ragsdale,Allison,Allen,Dickerson,Garland,Tucker,Hice,Smith,Horton and Haygood. Most of my ancestors came through Rutherford County NC, Spartanburg SC and in North East Georgia, such as Pickens, Gilmer, Cherokee Murray, Whitfield, Gordon, Floyd, Bartow and many other areas across the this Great Country of ours. I started working on Find a grave memorials at the first part of 2014.I am also very interested in Holly Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Murray County Ga and have been working with many of the memorials. Any Pics I have taken may be used by anybody. This is one way to aid in getting all of our ancestors recognized. It takes everyone working together to put this never ending puzzle together. If I have created any duplicate memorials ,or need to make changes to any of the memorials I manage .Please let me know. If I have memorials of your family or friends that you want transferred to you please do so on their memorials and the reason for transfer. If the memorial is a family member of mine I may not transfer but will be happy to make changes for you. However I am not related to a lot of them. I am also very interested in upgrading the memorials of Fallen Police Officers.
