Find A Grave Memorial# 4712837
I noticed you left a flower on the Margaret Lynch memorial which gives:Birth: 1786, Death: Sepr. 22, 1834 Baltimore City MD. Some of this information aligns with a Margaret Parrott that Married a Sam Lynch in 1818, Hampshire CO WV. Not much known of Margaret but she is mentiohned in the will of Christopher Parrott Find A Grave Memorial# 93953311.
Hope we both can make progress on finding out more.

RE: Mattew
Yes, I live (and Matt lived) right across from Southside. Matt was on the telephone with my sister JoAnne when he had a massive heart attack and died on March 11, 2015. I still can't believe he is gone. I think everyone in South Baltimore knew Matt. Thank you for remembering him.

Charlotte Strickling Rineman
Jim, I have been writing to you about my dad's side, the DiBlasi family. I noticed you are maintaining a memorial for Charlotte Strickling Rineman. I am a distant cousin of Charlotte's on my Mom's side. Charlotte's parents were Joshua and Catharine Shade Strickling. Catharine Shade Strickling's brother, George Shade, was my 4x great grandfather. You can follow the trail, right here on Find-a-Grave, from my Mom back: Mary Margaret Fold DiBlasi, Margaret E. Ward Fold, Mamie Pope Ward, Margaret Erb Pope, Mary Ellen Shade Erb, George Shade. Are you related to Charlitte Strickling Rineman? If so, that would make us distant cousins!

Victoria Henwood
Hi, my name is Victoria Henwood, wife of Daryl Henwood. I noticed you are looking for Henwoods in the Philadelphia area. I'm interested. Daryl's uncle David shared family history that his Father, David Daniel Henwood, had relatives in Philadelphia. Daryl's father, John Vernon Henwood, passed away when he was 2 yrs. old. I'm always hunting.

RE: Anna Henwood

Section and plot info is already on the memorial -- it's Merion 120. You can also review West Laurel Hill Cemetery online database and potentially order lot records for Anna Henwood or anyone else if you wish --

Happy Hunting!

RE: Anna Henwood
It's a beautiful graveyard. Well worth a visit, I think. That's why I started volunteering to take photos there--I went there whenever I was in the area anyway just to look around, so I thought I may as well make myself useful.

I'm about an hour and fifteen minutes away, but have business near WLH every few weeks, which is mostly the only time I make it there.

By the way, I noticed a George Wood in the background of the group shot someone added for Abraham Henwood and others (I also have a shot of that grouping). I don't have a connection for him to the Henwoods, but I do see his memorial doesn't have a photo. I'll upload a crop of my group shot to his and try to get a better photo next time.

Anna Henwood
The reason I got on to the Henwoods was that I had done a request for a Wood earlier, and when I saw the marker in Merion 120 for

William Wood (Find A Grave #91322485)
1812 --1898
His Wife
Sarah Wood (Find A Grave #91322464)

plus three of their children (Eliza, Frances W. and Charles Rea, and William's mother, Sarah-- all six of them on the one marker), I thought I'd snap it in case they were part of the other Wood family.

So, in case you don't know, Anna Henwood was née Wood, daughter of the William and Sarah, above. I added the connections, but the manager of her memorial hasn't accepted the edits yet. There is another sister or two not on the group marker, but said to also be on Merion 120, as is Anna. I did not see any other markers on that plot, but I could have missed them. I will look next time I go to WLH, but that may not be for another few weeks, so I won't claim the request just yet.
