Thanks for the transfer and the note. In the process of documenting the picture this afternoon, I proved it wasn't her.

Also I have a 1923 reunion group photo that I'm still working on. I know Doris should be in that photo, along with her parents and maternal grandmother.

I am mostly interested in the Wambold side of her family, which is descended from Mahlon Mitchell Sr., my 3rd great grandfather. I did take note of your comments on Harold's memorial about "A Journey in Time," and I hope to see a copy soon.

Could you please check your information for Kate Lord Stevens & Walter Judson Stevens. There is a link for a child that I doubt is theirs. They were married April 2, 1893. Kate was born in 1870 and the child (Umphrey) was born in 1880. It would be highly unlikely to have a child at age 10.

Also the 1910 Census has Kate Stevens with number of children born as 0 and number living 0. Perhaps Umphrey should be Humphrey, son of Martha ? Thanks.

Hello Chris, I think I've written to you before. Your name sounds very familiar. I was so happy to see this listing for Rose Foote Austin .. I'm wondering if you know what the inscription NEMPSEY on her stone is about ?

Sincerely, Candy Payne ( Welsh-Payne )

William H. Taylor Jr.
I am working on the Taylor family - my great great uncle J. Pitt Simpson had married the niece of William Taylor Jr (Mary Taylor Simpson whose father was James Simpson). The tombstone for William Taylor Jr., who was called Henry in the 1860 US Census for his family, probably to distinguish himself from his father who was probably Willard but sometimes called William. The father's family on findagrave only has the children born before the 1850 census and are missing the three born to them after: Harriet (probably known as Hattie), Mary and James. I have James located and wil try to add the other two. Thank you for your consideration on approvals.

Luke Nichols family, PA
Chris...do you have access to the Nichols diary?
I descend from Polly Bump. Polly was a sister to Lucy Bump (my line).

I am looking for Polly and Lucy Bump's mother.
Their father was Reuben Bump/son of Josiah Bump and Hannah Bumpus.

Josiah and Hannah had these 4 children:
Sally (nickname)married Thaddeus Newton, Reuben Jr, Lucy (married Samuel Rogers Nurse (my line) and Mary Polly married Luke Nichols.

If you have any reference/materials regarding this family, please respond to this email.

Thank you, Carol Nourse

Henry Hand
Might you know if the photo I added is for Henry Hand's burial marker?
