have been trying to find info on my father's
father for some time now - they are branch of
Rittenhouses that grew out of Warren County NJ
area (Oxford)
my mother was daughter of a John A. Adams from
who knows where - died in Bangor Pa
can't find his grave - may have been buried at his farm did find him in 1910 census in Blairstown NJ before my mother was born but she
was born in LaPlume PA in 1914 most of family passed so not a lot of info out there just stories If anyone knows of a Peter A. Rittenhouse from the Warren County Area supposed to have served in Spanish American War - died
and wife was Indian so lost farm - kids put in
foster care - she was supposed to be Violet
E. Person who later married a Hyde - she is in cemetery in Bloomsburg...
