I am a newcomer to Genealogy having only been bitten by the bug in July of 2012! However, I have jumped in with both feet and have loved meeting cousins from all over the US, Sweden, and Denmark. |
My primary areas of interest are Craig, Oerly, Herrin, Bulyar, Cole, Booram, Boone, Brown, and Frazier in northern and central MO on my Dad's side, and Erickson, Lindquist, Richards, Ahlheit, Hults, and See in Sweden, Denmark, Minneapolis, Spokane WA, and IL on my Mother's side.
I am willing to help in any way that I can, just let me know how!

You're very welcome Deric! Glad we could help. Yesterday was warm and we had a great time getting out to the cemeteries.
|Susan Hoeflich Thomas||Christiana Burget|
I have been looking for this marker, however I believe Christiana's name is probably BULYAR instead of BURGET.....the grave for her husband is Abraham Bulyar and their daughter is listed as a Bulyar. I took a couple of pics of other old Bulyar markers, b ut I was unable to make out the other first names/dates.

I've posted the photos to the memorial. I'm sorry about the quality. The stone was really hard to read. I had to use a light to get the inscription to show up in the photo.

I went to Old Zion cemetery in Pope Co., IL today to fulfill your photo request. I found a WF Ahlheit there, but the death date doesn't match (Dec. 7, 1910).
Is this the person you're looking for?

You are welcome. Good luck in tracing your lineage. I have Cole in my family. Perhaps there is a connection.

I think there are still some I need to find. They are in the section of the cemetery that is hard to get oriented in.
Glad I could be of help.

You are very welcome Deric, it was my pleasure to help.

You are most welcome and thank you for the compliment.. altho not necessary.. as this is a labor of love for me.. I too was bitten by that same bug as you and it was the help of all of the wonderful contributors here on find a grave during my searches for ancestors that inspired me to pay it forward..
I wanted to tell you that I processed the automated edits that you had requested.. not knowing that you had already added links to the memorials and it appears that it added duplicate links to the Pinckley memorials.. so would you be so kind as to go in and double check and if necessary remove one of the spousal links that I added this morning and any other duplicate info that was added thru the automated process.. you'll see what I mean when you click on their memorials..
If there is anything else I can help you with here in Williams County, just give me a shout and I'll do my best to accommodate you..
